Transport and Accomodation

To get in Moscow to the Department of Computational Mathematics and Cybernetics of the Moscow State University the following routes by the local transport can be used.

The closest metro station is the “University” station on the red line. Use please an exit to the Lomonosov avenue. Cross the avenue and decide whether to walk along the Lomonosov avenue or to use a bus (or a trolleybus) – you need to get to the next crossroad (“Lebedev street”) that is just one bus stop from the metro station (please, see the map below). If you decide to use a transportation then please take any of the following buses: 1, 47, 67, 103, 113, 119, 130, 187, 661, 260, or a trolleybus 34.

The transfer on demand from (to) the Moscow airports can be arranged. Contact address will be provided later.

Accomodation

Planning your accommodation, please, take into account the following. The territory occupied by MSU is huge – this is like a town that includes teaching buildings, research institutes, libraries, dormitories, parks, gardens, etc. There is only one comfortable hotel located on the border of this town – “Universitetskaya” (http://www.uhtl.ru, Michurin avenue, 8, building 1; a couple of bus stops from the CMC MSU building along the Lomonosov avenue till the stop “Indira Ghandi Square”). Free Wi-Fi and free parking are provided. Single standard room costs 3400 rub/day, single economy room – 2900 rub/day.

MSU has its own hotel located in the main building of the university. They provide a single room in a two rooms cell with a common toilet and shower for the cell. The cost of such room is 1200 rub/day.

We would suggest the following. For the conference days the most convenient would be to stay at the “Universitetskay” or at the MSU hotel. For extra days that you plan to stay in Moscow please feel free to reserve any hotel that is more close to the downtown of Moscow or to the places you plan to visit.

For the reservation of a room at the MSU hotel please contact Elena Zubareva, the member of the Organizing Committee responsible for the local arrangements of the participants.
